In July 2008, the student Berkeley Electrochemical Arsenic Remediation (BEAR) team took an ECAR prototype device that they designed as well as some ARUBA to Cambodia for field testing. The team documented their fieldwork in Cambodia in a Khmer-BEAR blog. Both technologies were found to be just as effective as in Bangladesh!
