Graduate student Caroline Delaire, a member of the ECAR team, has been selected as the 2012 Runner-Up for the Dow Sustainability Innovation Student Challenge Award (SISCA) at UC Berkeley. The award comes with a cash prize of $2,500. Her entry titled “A socially sustainable water solution for poor communities” impressed the judges with its innovative ideas, interdisciplinary nature, scalability, and potential for sustainability impact. The award is given by the Center for Responsible Business and the Dow Chemical Company. Congratulations Caroline!
