Caroline is spending a couple of weeks in Kolkata to work with Joyashree Roy and Abhijit Das from the Global Change Program at Jadavpur University and develop a survey about water consumption behaviors in arsenic-affected communities of West Bengal. The corresponding field work will take place in November-December 2014. The green and relaxing campus is a great place to escape the Summer heat of Kolkata! This visit is also an opportunity for Caroline to explore the water realities in Kolkata slums and to assist a group of teenagers mentored by NGO Prayasam in their efforts to bring clean water to their communities.
