Caroline received the 2013-2014 Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor Award, sponsored by the GSI Teaching and Resource Center, in recognition for her achievements as a teacher in Water Chemistry (CE 115), an upper-level undergraduate class in Civil and Environmental Engineering. This year, approximately nine percent of the GSIs serving on campus earned this distinguished award. The monetary award will contribute to fund Caroline’s field work in West Bengal, India, where she plans to analyze water behaviors and practices in arsenic-affected communities.
