On Thursday, May 11th members of the Gadgil water group met with Dr. Joyashree Roy from Jadavpur University, India in the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory cafeteria. Dr. Roy is an esteemed professor of economics and has been hugely influential in the arsenic remediation project, ECAR, outside of Kolkata, India. The meeting focused on lessons learned throughout the ECAR project as well as future problems for the team to tackle.
