Exploring ECAR technology for Arsenic removal in California

As it is widely known, high concentrations of arsenic have been found in California’s groundwater. The California department of Public Health has established a list of contaminated public wells in California, which are being monitored by the EPA. After the US EPA lowered its maximum contaminant level to 10 micron per liter, a high number of wells in California have had to decrees arsenic levels.

Our group is exploring the possibility of using ECAR technology to address this problem. We will focus on low income areas in California, in particular the Native Indian reservations.  As the project launches, there will be more information to come.
