Kathleen Lask awarded NSF GROW grant to Australia

The NSF Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW) grant is “a collaboration between NSF, international partners and USAID to provide NSF Fellows with expanded opportunities to enhance professional development through research collaborations at top-caliber science and engineering research sites overseas.”

Kathleen will be collaborating with Drs Paul Medwell and Cristian Birzer at the University of Adelaide to understand the mechanisms affecting particulate matter emissions in biomass cookstoves when secondary air is injected.
